Paris Love Locks is going down !

Paris will be removing today love padlocks on the "Pont des Arts", the bridge which crosses over the River Seine in Paris. It is said that the bridge's fences will have be removed because of the weight of the padlocks put by tourist to ensure everlasting love.

Jennifer Obayuwana and her fiance Peter Salah sealed the love in January. Hope it lasts forever even though their Love Lock will be taken down.

I was on the "Pont des Arts" in January but didn't put any padlocks on the fences. Some parts of the fences were covered with planks during this time. There was an African man on the bridge selling locks at about 8pm.

Love locks can be found not only on the Pont des Arts bridge, but also on the Passerelle Léopold-Sédar-Senghor and the Pont de l'Archevêché bridges.
