François Hollande's New Year's speech

Every year in France, the French president gives a New Year's Eve television speech.

French president, François Hollande gave a 9 minute touching speech filled with promises during the traditional speech to the nation.

Speaking from his office in the Elysée presidential palace, he admitted that 2014 was difficult but promised that 2015 would be better. He said France must remain in the eurozone and that governent reforms will help boost the country’s slow economy

He said that France can transform itself :
"La France est capable de se transformer. Je sais que vous y êtes prêts"
François Hollande also promised to put an end to "French Bashing". He encouraged the French to have confidence in the future thereby citing  Patrick Modiano et Jean Tirole, the two French Nobel prizes for 2014.
