French Police found 1.3 tonnes of cocaine on Air France flight

French police have confiscated 1.3 tonnes of pure cocaine from an Air France cargo plane on
September 11, 2013.

The drugs were stashed in 30 suitcases which were registered under false names and did not correspond to passengers on the flight from Venezuelan capital Caracas to Charles de Gaulle airport.
French Interior Minister, Manuel Valls, annouced on Saturday that the drugs, which have an estimated street value of about 200 million euros, is the largest-ever seizure in the Paris region.

Four tonnes of cocaine has been seized in France since the start of the year.
