The Rosé Miraval was named best Rosé in the world in 2013 after being ranked number 84 on the annual Top 100 Wines of the Year 2012 by Wine Spectator.
Rosé Miraval is produced by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at their wine estate, Château Miraval located in the French Provence.
They couple and their six children started to lease the 17th-century French Château in 2008 as their vacation home. In 2012, they purchased the 35-bedroom estate with adjoining 1,200-acre vineyard for $60 million.
They then partnered with the Perrin family, a famous fifth-generation winemakers located in the region, to develop their own Rosé wine. In that same year, Brad proposed to Angelina on the property. In August 2014, they tied the knot in an intimate family ceremony.
A bottle which should sell for around 15 euros each is sold for 10 times more for those who are able to buy before it's sold out.
So many fake bottles are being produced in China and sold for an original. To recognise an authentic bottle, a hallmark has been n engraved into the foot of the glass bottle as an anti-counterfeit protection.
